These Highland cattle are generally referred to as Scotland’s gentle giants because of their stocky build and docile temperament. They’re easily identified by their long horns and flowing crimson coat, which warms them in the winter, keeps flies from their eyes, and makes them a favorite among bovine-lovers. Along with their unique appearance, these cattle are some of the friendliest breeds, making them great fun for people of all ages.
